Production of surface layers under glow discharge conditions
Technological progress makes the bigger and bigger requirements for mechanical properties of parts of machines and tools. Besides the high hardness, fatigue strength and resistance to wear, the extended corrosion resistance is reqiured. These all reqiurements can be fulfilled by formation of a new solid phase on the surface of the treated object by means of direct current and pulsed current glow discharge.
The Institute of Precision Mechanics has developed the following technologies of production of composite layers:
- ferritic glow-discharge carbonitriding, technology – IMPJON;
- glow-discharge nitriding and oxidizing – technology IMPAS;
- formation of Ti(NCO) based composite layers.
We offer:
- Selection of products and steel grades for glow-discharge thermochemical treatment processes;
- Development of technologies, production of equipment;
- Implementation of the technologies and engineering supervision;
- Commercial technological services - formation of composite layers on the Clients batch.
